"We prefer doing business with local companies, even if the cost is more. We value strong customer service. We are on a mission to complete a house/garage clean-out and decided that renting a dumpster would be the most efficent and time-saving. After soliciting quotes from four vendors (two big names), we choose T W for their competitive pricing and ultimately the owner's customer service. I tend to over-analyze EVERYTHING and have had a lot of questions even after ordering the dumpster service. Tom Wright has been incredibly responsive - no email has been left unanswered, each promptly no matter the time of night. The dumpster was delivered today by Dan and it's no surprise that he was professional, kind, knowledgeable and courteous. He raved about his employment with this company - an employee who raves about their employer means they are working for a stand-up company with strong leadership. Since the weather was all day rain and the dumpsters don't come with a lid, Tom worked with me in a fair manner to extend my rental by one extra day to make up for lost time. I can't imagine another vendor doing the same for a new customer. Guess who we'll be calling when we need tree care! I will say that another Maine company about 2 1/2 hours away quoted a similar rental for $200 less, but we went with T W anyway. It always concerns me when there's a significant difference because often times it leads to significant hidden charges.
